CDR Pumps: technical SEO for local and foreign visibility
Implementation of a highly specialized SEO strategy to improve organic visibility to conquer international markets
The Project
CDR Pumps is an established manufacturer of industrial centrifugal pumps (mechanical seal, magnetic drive, plastic, metal, and custom) for demanding sectors such as chemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial. The company had an operational website presenting its offerings and expertise. Our intervention focused exclusively on search engine optimization (SEO), with the goal of increasing organic visibility and qualified traffic to the site.
The challenge
The main and fundamental challenge was having to implement an SEO strategy from scratch on an already existing and fully operational website, but one that had been developed without consideration of search engine optimization aspects. This entailed the need to thoroughly analyze a structure and content not designed for SEO, identifying and correcting ingrained technical, structural, and content gaps, without being able to benefit from an optimized design from the start.
The approach
We took a methodical approach, starting with an in-depth technical and content SEO audit to map out all the necessary areas of intervention on the preexisting site. After conducting keyword research specific to CDR Pumps' industry and products, identifying the most relevant search queries, we intervened directly on the platform. In addition, we implemented advanced SEO strategies for AI, optimizing the data structure and schema markup to make it easier for AI-based search engines to understand the site. The overall goal was to "adapt" and restructure the existing site to make it understandable, authoritative, and relevant to search engines, thus overcoming the limitations imposed by the lack of initial SEO planning.
