Development of a fully custom Shopify e-commerce to enhance Daniela De Marchi's artisanal identity. The project simplified the management of the many product variants and created an elegant, fluid shopping experience consistent with the brand's premium positioning.

The Project:

The previous site failed to fully represent the strong identity of the brand, known for its unique “Dropage” texture and customizable jewelry in color combinations.

The goal was to create a tailored Shopify platform that could:

 

  • Expressing the craft character of the brand
  • Effectively manage the complexity of variants
  • Provide a smooth, elegant shopping experience consistent with brand positioning
Challenge:

La criticità principale risiedeva nel bilanciare l’estetica con la funzionalità tecnica. Il catalogo presentava una matrice di varianti estremamente articolata (modelli, pietre, finiture, colori) che rischiava di generare confusione. Era necessario risolvere il paradosso tra:

 

  1. Ricchezza dell’offerta: Permettere all’utente di esplorare tutte le possibili configurazioni personalizzate.
  2. Semplicità d’uso: Evitare l’overload cognitivo tipico dei configuratori complessi, mantenendo un design pulito ed elegante.

  • Shopify Custom Development Creating a unique graphic theme (not based on standard templates) that encodes the visual language of the brand, putting texture and material details at the center.
