B2B marketing for a Tuscan manufacturer has to deal with an uncomfortable fact: the region's exports are growing, but not for everyone at the same pace. Alongside the technology hubs and pharmaceuticals, which drive growth, there are machinery, paper, boatbuilding and stone districts that swing between excellent years and sudden slowdowns, and suppliers that depend on a handful of big customers. If your company lives on orders and relationships built over the years, the risk is noticing too late that this channel is narrowing.
Our job is to build a second sales engine alongside your existing one: clear positioning, digital tools that buyers actually use, and a steady flow of qualified inquiries that doesn't rely only on sales agents and trade shows. We started in Milan more than ten years ago, we work with companies all over Italy, and on every project you have a senior person as your direct contact, from the initial analysis to the campaigns.
Many manufacturing SMEs make excellent products but present themselves like everyone else: same photos, same adjectives, no obvious difference. We start from your customers, competitors and technical strengths to define what truly sets you apart, and if needed we turn it into a new identity through branding, consistent in every language and on every material.
We design multilingual websites where specifications, certifications, applications and use cases are organized the way a purchasing department or an engineer looks for them. Every product sheet becomes a searchable, downloadable page instead of a PDF nobody can find, with a clear invitation to request a quote.
If you work with distributors, resellers or customers who reorder often, a B2B portal with private price lists, order history, availability and documentation cuts down on phone calls and mistakes. For spare parts and consumables, we look at a full B2B e-commerce store. We build them as web apps connected to your management systems.
A machine or component with many variants is hard to explain in words. A 3D configurator lets customers build their solution and send a request that already includes the technical data. Company videos show plants, processes and products in action, and are often the most convincing content for someone who has never visited your facility.
With LinkedIn campaigns you reach specific roles, industries and companies, in Italy and abroad, with technical content and in-depth offers. Every contact is tracked from the first interaction to the quote request, so you know which markets and which messages bring real deals, not just views.
With an SEO strategy built on buyers' questions, in their languages, you bring qualified traffic to your product pages. With SEO for AI, we work to make your company show up even when an engineer asks an AI assistant to suggest a supplier.
Tuscan manufacturing is a mosaic of specializations: boatbuilding in Viareggio, paper and paper-industry machinery in Lucca, motorhomes in the Val d'Elsa, marble in Carrara, textile machinery in Prato. Alongside the districts, the Region has recognized regional technology districts such as advanced manufacturing (PONTECH), rail (DITECFER), new materials (ASEV), boatbuilding and ports (NAVIGO) and paper (LUCENSE). The overall picture, according to the Intesa Sanpaolo press release of August 2026, is of a region that exported €21.5 billion in Q1 2026, of which €10.4 billion came from districts and technology hubs.
The same press release identifies about 150 "champion" companies among district firms and notes that R&D spending is 1.51% of regional GDP. From a commercial point of view, the message is clear: the excellent companies are there, but they are a minority. Most structured SMEs still don't have strong, recognizable positioning outside their own circle of customers, and that's where industrial marketing can tip the balance. In Q1 2026, Tuscan exports grew by 30.2%, versus 1.3% for Italy, but the push comes mainly from pharmaceuticals: traditional manufacturing doesn't benefit in the same way and has to win its own share abroad.
For individual districts, the most recent data available is from the Intesa Sanpaolo Monitor of Tuscany's Districts (January 2025), covering January–September 2024. The chart compares exports of the main districts in machinery, transport equipment, intermediate goods and stone:
Similar values hide opposite trends. In the same period, Viareggio boatbuilding grew by 39.7%, while Lucca paper lost 7.3%. For a machinery company supplying one of these sectors, that means its revenue can follow the cycle of an industry it doesn't control. Diversifying customers and markets isn't a slogan: it's how you avoid being exposed when your core district slows down.
In practice, B2B marketing does three things: it gets you found by buyers in new industries and countries, it explains your technical expertise so it can be understood without a visit to your facility, and it turns interest into trackable quote requests. The weight of each lever depends on your product and sales cycle, and it's the first thing we clarify together. A machine builder who sells a few plants a year needs different tools than a component maker who receives orders every week.
As of 10/06/2026, there are no open regional calls for internationalization or digital projects: the only OPEN measure we have verified is the Camera di Commercio di Firenze internationalization program, reserved for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the metropolitan city of Florence.
| Tool | Status | Period | What it covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Support for the internationalization of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the metropolitan city of Florence, 2026 Camera di Commercio di Firenze | Open | from 11:00 a.m. on 09/24/2026 to 4:00 p.m. on 12/31/2026, while funds last | MSMEs in the metropolitan city of Florence: 50% of expenses, up to €7,000, for trade shows in Italy and abroad and for services, including foreign-language digital marketing campaigns, digital export managers and consulting. |
| Support for the Dual Transition of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the metropolitan city of Florence - 2026 Camera di Commercio di Firenze | Closed | applications from 10:00 a.m. on 07/09/2026 to 4:00 p.m. on 07/31/2026 | Digital and green voucher for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs): technologies (AI, IoT, ERP, cybersecurity, e-commerce platforms), digital audits and training; 50% up to €10,000. Websites without e-commerce are excluded; digital marketing is not explicitly covered. |
| Internationalization Call 2025 (PR FESR 2021-2027) Regione Toscana / Sviluppo Toscana S.p.A. | Closed | opened 03/24/2025 at 10:00 a.m.; closed when funds ran out, by 03/31/2025 at 5:00 p.m. | Internationalization services for MSMEs, consortia and networks, with grants of up to 50%. No 2026 edition as of the verification date. |
Let's look at what they really cover. The Chamber of Commerce call for internationalization reimburses 50% of expenses, with a minimum of €1,000 and a maximum of €7,000, across trade fairs in Italy, trade fairs abroad and a services line, up to €2,500, that explicitly mentions digital marketing campaigns in a foreign language. The Chamber of Commerce voucher for the dual transition is closed, and it excluded websites without e-commerce anyway, without explicitly covering digital marketing. The Region's Internationalization Call 2025 closed within a week because funds ran out, and as of 10/6/2026 we found no 2026 edition. If your company is outside the metropolitan city of Florence, there is currently no open measure among those we checked. For investments in capital goods, you'll find a useful reference in our guide to the iperammortamento, linked below. In any case, whether an expense is eligible must be checked in the text of the call.
Miba is a precision metalworking company, a manufacturer very similar to those that work as suppliers in Tuscan districts. We handled web design, SEO, multilingual content strategy and user experience, with one clear goal: to make its expertise and processes show up in the searches of people actually looking for that kind of supplier, in multiple languages.
The results published in the portfolio are a 245% increase in organic traffic, 211% more keywords in the top 10 and a 24% improvement in keyword rankings, with 49% of pages indexed. These aren't numbers to replicate by contract, because every market is different, but they show the method we apply in Tuscany too: understanding who is searching for your products and services, with which words and in which languages, and building the pages that answer them. You'll find the full project in the portfolio: Miba.

Our FAQ section offers clear, concrete answers for anyone who has heard about web agencies and wonders what a team of professionals can really do for them.
It includes positioning against competitors, a multilingual website with indexable technical catalogs, and, where useful, tools such as a B2B portal, B2B e-commerce or a 3D configurator, plus technical SEO and visibility in AI assistants, LinkedIn campaigns for B2B lead generation and company videos. Not everything is needed right away: for a supplier in a cyclical district, for example, it often makes sense to start by researching new target sectors and the pages that reach them.
Trade fairs remain an important moment, but they last only a few days. Digital marketing works before, during and after: before, it brings already interested contacts to your booth with campaigns targeted by sector and country; during, it collects data in an orderly way; after, it follows up with content and messages that keep the deal alive. In the months without events, your website, SEO and LinkedIn campaigns keep bringing in quote requests, so your sales calendar doesn't depend only on trade fair dates.
It depends on the lever. LinkedIn and Google campaigns can bring the first contacts within a few weeks, while SEO and positioning take months to consolidate, and the industrial sales cycle adds more time before a contact becomes an order. That's why we set clear intermediate indicators, such as quote requests, qualified leads and rankings on industry keywords, and review them together at regular intervals, without promising results that don't depend on us alone.
As of 10/06/2026, only the Florence Chamber of Commerce call for the internationalization of MSMEs in the metropolitan city is OPEN (from 11:00 a.m. on 09/24/2026 to 4:00 p.m. on 12/31/2026, unless funds run out), and it includes digital marketing campaigns in a foreign language. The Chamber of Commerce voucher for the dual transition is CLOSED (applications from 07/09/2026 to 07/31/2026), and the Region's Internationalization Call 2025 is CLOSED (opened 03/24/2025, closed by 03/31/2025). Always check the requirements in the official text.
We work with manufacturing companies across Italy, and the case we show on this page is Miba, in precision metalworking: we don't cite clients or references we can't document. What we bring to Tuscany is a proven method, adapted to your district, your target markets and the languages of your buyers. You have a senior contact as your direct point of reference, and you can test our approach with a free audit before you decide.
They're often the most convincing content for a buyer who has never visited your plant. A machine in operation, a process filmed up close, a quality check: they show expertise that words struggle to explain, whether you work in Viareggio's boat building, Lucca's paper industry or Prato's textiles. We plan company videos starting from how you'll use them: product sheets, LinkedIn campaigns, sales presentations. That way every shot serves multiple channels and the material stays useful for a long time, instead of ending up in a corporate film nobody watches.
