Complete restyling of the Colorizzo platform, an e-commerce dedicated to paints and technical materials for wood and carpentry. The project improved the clarity of the offer, simplified navigation for professionals and hobbyists, and increased conversions thanks to a more intuitive UX and a functionally reorganized catalog.

The Project:
Colorizzo is an e-commerce specializing in the sale of paints, stains, impregnants and technical materials for woodworking and carpentry.
The existing site did not sufficiently enhance the quality of the products nor did it make it easier for users to choose the best solution for their work.
The goal of the project was to rethink the platform for:
- Improve the clarity of the offer, which is often very technical
- Simplify the buying experience for professionals, artisans and hobbyists
- Increase conversions and sales with more effective communication
Challenge:
The main difficulty was to make accessible a catalog consisting of dozens of technical products, differentiated by yield, support, formula, and specific applications.
A balance needed to be struck between:
- Technical correctness of information on paints and materials
- Visual clarity to help the user quickly orient themselves
- Ease of purchase, especially for those consulting from mobile devices
- Ability of the site to support even less experienced users
Approach:
We structured the work following a data-driven and user-oriented method:
- Analysis of the existing site to identify navigational friction, critical technical issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Complete reorganization of information architecture: clearer categories, useful filters, application-based guided paths (e.g., exterior wood, interior wood, iron, carpentry).
- UX & UI redesign with clean interfaces, more readable technical descriptions, and optimized product sheets.
- Setup strategic advertising campaigns to generate immediate sales and build qualified audiences in the long run.
